Governor Mike Kehoe has appointed Tom Smith as an associate circuit judge for Missouri's 21st Judicial Circuit. Smith, who hails from Warson Woods, currently serves as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's
Office. His previous experience includes working as an assistant attorney general for the Missouri Attorney General's Office. Smith is also involved in academia as the co-director of the Washington University School of Law Prosecutors Clinic. He is active in his community, serving as co-director of the Emmanuel Faith in Action Committee and is a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Smith's appointment fills the vacancy left by the resignation of Judge Joseph L. Green.
