What's Happening?
The Franklin County Friends of Legal Services is organizing its annual book sale, with designated Book Drop-Off Days scheduled for February 21 and March 14. Community members are encouraged to donate books and other items at the group's sorting space
located at the rear of the MobileWorks building in Chambersburg. The drop-off times are set from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days. The organization accepts new and used books in good condition, CDs, DVDs, sheet music, puzzles, and board games, but will not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, or phonograph records. Proceeds from the book sale will be used to support legal services in civil cases for low-income families in the area. Additional drop-off opportunities will be available at local business donation sites, with details to be announced later. The 40th annual book sale is scheduled for May 8-10 at Laird Hall on the Wilson College campus.
