What's Happening?
The Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology at Penn State is organizing two hands-on workshops focused on introductory methods in mammalian cell culture. These workshops are designed to teach
participants the fundamental techniques required for cell culture, including aseptic techniques, cell growth cycles, and cryopreservation. The sessions will be held at the Sartorius Cell Culture Facility and are open to all Penn State students, faculty, and staff, regardless of their prior experience. Participants are required to complete specific training courses before attending. The workshops are scheduled for late September and early October, with a registration fee of $50 per person.
