The Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways in Fiji has distributed farming tools valued at $16,252 to thirty-six kava farmers in Soa Village, Ra. This initiative is part of the Commercial Agriculture Development Programme (CADP) aimed at enhancing kava production.

The farmers, organized into five groups with 23,000 existing kava plants, plan to expand their farms and improve the quality of their produce.
