A study by Tourism Economics reveals that Central Florida's tourism industry generated a record-breaking $98.6 billion in economic impact in 2025. This represents a 4.4% increase from the previous year, driven by visitor spending, employment opportunities,
and tax revenue. Direct visitor spending reached $62.9 billion, with the majority occurring in Orange County. The tourism sector supported over 476,541 jobs, with 294,659 directly related to tourism activities. The industry also contributed $7.1 billion in state and local tax revenue, funding public services and infrastructure.
