Elizabeth Therese Payer, a resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 60. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, known for her work with the Chicago Public Library
and her volunteer efforts at the Tree House Humane Society. Elizabeth was a fan of local sports teams, enjoying both Cubs and Sox games. She is survived by her sisters Melissa Wilson, April Grilly, Brenda Payer, and Lynn Payer, as well as her brother-in-law John Roothaan. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carolyn Payer. Her memorial service will be private.
