The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is requesting public assistance to identify two suspects involved in a burglary at a self-storage facility near downtown Los Angeles. The incident occurred on April 16 at 3:05 a.m. when the suspects used a vehicle
to ram the gate of the facility located on 6th Street near S. Beaudry Avenue. After gaining entry, the suspects stole items from multiple storage units. The suspects attempted a second break-in on April 18 but were unsuccessful. The vehicle used in the crime is described as a black or gray, newer model Jeep with a red stripe on the hood and missing a rear spare tire. Both suspects are described as men, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing block clothing, with one wearing a red baseball cap. The LAPD urges anyone with information to contact Rampart Burglary Detectives.
