What's Happening?
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has been awarded a five-year Worldwide Field Support (WFS) task order by the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), valued at $510 million. This order, issued in July, includes a one-year base
period and four option years. Under this contract, GDIT will provide logistics, sustainment, and maintenance services for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Medical (C5ISR-M) equipment used by soldiers and coalition forces globally. GDIT will deploy personnel to 190 locations worldwide, including various Army bases and installations, to support critical systems such as radios and command and control platforms.
