What's Happening?
Three music professors from Eastern Illinois University, Rebecca Johnson, Annie Masson, and Magie Beck, performed as a Woodwind Ensemble at Homewood-Flossmoor High School on April 10. The ensemble included performances on flute, bassoon, and clarinet.
During the event, the professors engaged with students by discussing various musical techniques, providing an educational experience alongside their performances. This initiative aimed to enrich the students' understanding of music and inspire them through live demonstrations by experienced musicians.
Why It's Important?
The visit by the Eastern Illinois University professors to Homewood-Flossmoor High School highlights the importance of music education and the role of live performances in enhancing student learning.
