US Representative Rick Larsen, representing Washington's Second Congressional District, recently visited the US Customs and Border Patrol Ferndale Station, also known as the Ferndale ICE facility. During his visit, Larsen sought to understand the operations

The facility, which has two holding cells with a capacity for eight people each, typically detains individuals for 4-5 hours before transferring them to a privately-run detention center in Tacoma. He plans to follow up with the Department of Homeland Security, HSI, and ICE to gain further insights into their enforcement and removal operations.
