Clay Bennett, an editorial cartoonist for The Chattanooga Times Free Press, has had a distinguished career in the field of editorial cartooning. Born in Clinton, South Carolina, Bennett's career has spanned
several decades, during which he has worked for notable publications such as the St. Petersburg Times and The Christian Science Monitor. Bennett joined the Chattanooga Times Free Press in 2007, where he continues to produce five cartoons a week. His work is syndicated internationally by The Washington Post Writers Group. Bennett has received numerous accolades, including the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 2002, and has held the position of Past President of the Association of Editorial Cartoonists.
