Rachel May Murphy, a resident of North Easton, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, at the age of 88. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James V. Yanni and Mary (Piro) Yanni. Rachel was a graduate of Brockton High School
and furthered her education at a secretarial school in Boston. She began her career as an executive secretary at Sheraton Corporation and later worked as a legal secretary at Mone, D'Ambrose & Hanyen Law Firm in Brockton. Known for her love of cooking, Rachel hosted exquisite dinner parties and was an avid knitter and gardener. She is survived by her children, Lee E. Murphy and James F. Murphy, her brother Frank Yanni, and two grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for May 2nd at Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Easton.
