HII, America's largest military shipbuilder, has announced a strategic partnership with Bayou Metal Supply & Manufacturing to accelerate the production of ROMULUS unmanned surface vessels (USVs). A new dedicated manufacturing line has been launched in Slidell,
Louisiana, to support this initiative. This facility will handle precision cutting, bending, welding, and assembly of major structural components, which will then be shipped to Breaux Brothers Enterprises for final integration. Bayou Metals is providing marine-grade aluminum and establishing manufacturing capacity to meet the production schedule.
