Monroe County Community College's Destination Dance School is set to host its annual open house on September 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will take place in the Welch Health Education Building on the college's main campus. The school offers a variety of dance classes, including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, theatre, and ballroom, starting September 8. Kellie Lajiness, the school's director, also provides private lessons. The school plans to hold a December Showcase and a Spring Recital for students to display their skills. Additionally, the Inside Out Dance Ensemble, a contemporary dance company at MCCC, will hold auditions for new members.
