The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in Nepal has filed a significant corruption case against 55 individuals, including five former ministers, over financial irregularities in the construction of the Pokhara Regional International
Airport. The CIAA is seeking the recovery of Rs 8.36 billion and maximum prison sentences for all accused.
