The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Gaylord Area Branch has named Judi A. Doan as the 2026 'Woman Making History.' This accolade recognizes her extensive contributions to the community,
including her roles as a four-time president of the Kiwanis Club of Gaylord and her involvement with organizations such as the Special Olympics, Otsego County Food Pantry, and Girl Scouts. Doan has also been instrumental in opening homes for developmentally disabled adults and coordinating The Refuge of Otsego County. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 8 at BJ’s Event Center, featuring a silent auction to support educational programs for local girls and women.
