What's Happening?
Amy Humphreys is set to return to Darigold, a prominent U.S. dairy cooperative, as CEO. Humphreys previously served as CFO of Darigold from 2015 to 2018 and will begin her new role on October 1. She succeeds Allan Huttema, who led the company through a pivotal period starting in 2023. Huttema, initially appointed as interim CEO, will return to his Idaho dairy farm as a member-owner of the Northwest Dairy Association (NDA). Humphreys brings extensive experience in food manufacturing and petroleum sectors, having held executive positions at Icicle Seafoods and Delta Western. Her board experience includes roles at Premera Blue Cross and American Seafoods. Humphreys is also a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Economic Advisory Council.
