his passion for archaeology, particularly arrowhead collecting, and was a member of the Indiana and Kentucky Archaeological Societies. Cogis was also an Associate Pastor at Generations Church in Tipton, where he was admired for his dedication to his faith and community. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and a large family, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
