The Premier League, in collaboration with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, has initiated a program to train grassroots football coaches in Mumbai, India. Shaun Preddie, a community football coach,
participated in the Premier League’s Coach Development Programme, providing expert training to 27 community coaches. The initiative aims to enhance the skills of local coaches, benefiting over 2.2 million children across 29 countries. The program included a showcase event attended by UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and former England striker Michael Owen.
