Penny Jo Bredemeier, a beloved community member and educator, passed away on June 6, 2026. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Penny was adopted and raised in Racine, where she developed a passion for theater and education. She worked for over 25 years in the East
Aurora School District, primarily as a secretary at Bardwell Elementary School, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to students. Penny was also actively involved in local PTA and band booster organizations, and she was a devoted member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church.
