JUKTI, the Computer Science and Engineering Club of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), organized an industry visit to Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited in Kaliakoir, Gazipur. The visit, titled 'Beyond the Classroom: JUKTI's Industry Visit 2026
to Walton', took place on July 16, 2026, and included 56 CSE students and two faculty members. The initiative aimed to provide students with practical exposure to technology-driven industrial operations, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices. During the visit, students toured Walton's Display Centre and observed various stages of manufacturing operations, gaining insights into modern production processes, quality control systems, and technologies used in large-scale manufacturing. They also visited Walton's Data Centre and IT Department to learn about the digital infrastructure supporting industrial operations. A highlight of the visit was the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Manufacturing Line, where students observed automated production processes.
