Timor-Leste has commercially launched the Timor-Leste South Submarine Cable System (TLSCC), marking the country's first international subsea connection. The cable, running 607 km from Dili to Australia's North West Cable System, has a design capacity
of 27 Tbps. This development is a significant milestone for Timor-Leste, which previously relied on satellite and microwave radio for international connectivity.
