What's Happening?
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are set to receive new extended reality (XR) training systems as part of a Nordic defense technology initiative. Norwegian company Fynd Reality leads the initiative, with Varjo selected as the XR technology provider. The program
aims to address limited access to operational vehicles by offering immersive training solutions. The XR systems, supplied through Norway's Nansen Program, will enable comprehensive training without physical vehicle access. The project, valued at $8.5 million, includes an initial delivery of 39 XR systems to Ukraine. Varjo's technology is chosen for its security features, meeting high security standards for defense applications.
