Basil 'Bill' N. Stavropoulos, aged 80, of Elmwood Park, Illinois, passed away on November 1, 2025. He is survived by his sons Nicholas and George, granddaughters Eleni and Evangelina, and siblings Constantine,
Panos, and Koula Stavropoulos. Basil was the son of Nicholas C. and Eleftheria Stavropoulos from Edessa, Greece. His funeral services are scheduled for November 7th at Salerno Galewood Chapels in Chicago, followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery. The family has requested donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.
