What's Happening?
ESAB has upgraded its Rogue ES and ET line of inverters by adding DC Pulsed Stick welding functionality to all three models in the series. The models include Rogue ES 151iP PRO, Rogue ES 201iP PRO Stick/Live TIG welders, and the Rogue ET 201iP PRO, which also offers a DC Pulsed TIG output. This enhancement allows for more control over heat input, minimizing warping and distortion when welding thinner materials, and improving out-of-position welding. The Rogue welders are now available through standard distribution and online sales channels, offering lightweight portability and flexibility in power sources.
Why It's Important?
The addition of pulsed welding functionality to ESAB's Rogue inverters represents a significant advancement in welding technology, providing users with enhanced control and precision. This development is particularly beneficial for industries requiring high-quality welds on thin materials, such as automotive and aerospace sectors. The improved functionality can lead to better weld quality, reduced spatter, and less post-weld cleaning, ultimately increasing productivity and reducing costs. The portability and power flexibility of the Rogue inverters make them suitable for a wide range of applications, potentially expanding ESAB's market reach.
