What's Happening?
The Link and Option Center, led by Twin Green, has launched a mobile clinic named 'Carry' to provide mental and maternal healthcare services in the south suburbs of Chicago. The clinic aims to conduct 2,000 mental health screenings and 300 to 500 maternal health visits
annually. It will operate in high-need areas such as Harvey, Dolton, and Chicago Heights, offering services like prenatal screenings, mental health assessments, and addiction support. The initiative was funded through private donations, with ongoing efforts to secure additional funding for long-term operation. The mobile clinic is designed to reach individuals who face barriers to accessing traditional healthcare facilities.
