What's Happening?
EQ Resources has reported a new monthly production record at its Barruecopardo Mine in Spain, achieving 12,006 tonnes of contained tungsten trioxide in October 2025. The increase in production is attributed to higher feed volumes and improved efficiency
in the processing plant. The company processed 160,976 tonnes through the jaw crusher and 58,714 tonnes through the Tomra x-ray transmissive ore sorters, maintaining a strong plant feed grade of 0.236% tungsten trioxide. EQ Resources plans to further enhance recovery and classification by installing a wet scalping screen and new shaking tables.
Why It's Important?
This production milestone is a significant achievement for EQ Resources, highlighting the company's ability to overcome previous performance challenges and improve operational efficiency. The record production not only strengthens EQ Resources' position in the global tungsten market but also demonstrates the effectiveness of its proprietary solutions in enhancing recovery rates. This development is likely to boost investor confidence and support the company's expansion plans in North Queensland and the Salamanca province.
What's Next?
EQ Resources is set to continue its focus on improving production capabilities at the Barruecopardo Mine. The installation of new equipment and the finalization of an independent sorter feed system are expected to further increase production efficiency. As the company progresses with these enhancements, stakeholders will be keen to see if EQ Resources can sustain its production growth and achieve future records.
