What's Happening?
The Council of Europe Youth Department is inviting applications for the Youth Advocacy for Democracy and Human Rights Training Course, scheduled to take place at the European Youth Centre Strasbourg, France, from September 27 to October 4, 2026. This
fully funded program aims to enhance the advocacy skills of young activists, youth leaders, and members of youth civil society organizations committed to promoting democracy, human rights, and youth participation in public decision-making. Participants will engage in interactive learning, practical exercises, and peer exchanges, while gaining insights into democratic institutions during the Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The initiative is part of the Youth Revitalising Democracy Project, which seeks to remove barriers to youth participation in politics and strengthen structures that enable young people to influence public decision-making.
