30. Judge Scott, an Idaho native, earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Idaho State University and a law degree from Duke University School of Law in 1997. He previously clerked for a U.S. District Judge and spent approximately 15 years at the Idaho law firm Hawley Troxell, where he was a partner for seven years, focusing on civil litigation and business-related disputes. In 2014, he was appointed a District Judge in Idaho’s Fourth Judicial District, serving in Ada County and as the presiding district judge in Valley County.
