A shooting incident at the Hill Creek Apartment complex in the Lawncrest section of Northeast Philadelphia resulted in one death and four injuries late Sunday night. Philadelphia Police Captain Lewis Higginson reported that officers, who were patrolling
the area just before midnight, responded to gunshots and found two individuals with gunshot wounds on East Hill Creek Drive. The victims, an 18-year-old woman and an unconscious teenage boy, were taken to Einstein Medical Center. Additional 911 calls led officers to discover two more injured juveniles, aged 16 and 17, who were transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition. Another victim, an unidentified adult male, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The incident is believed to have originated from a party, though the motive remains unclear.
