What's Happening?
The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, scheduled for July 20-26, will showcase a collection of original and replica aircraft from the early years of aviation. This 'Pioneers of Flight' display will highlight
planes from the first 25 years following the Wright brothers' historic flight in 1903. The event, known as the world's largest fly-in convention, will feature nine air shows over seven days, including night performances on July 22 and 25. The vintage aircraft area will host these historic planes, representing significant innovations by both American and international designers. Notable aircraft in the display include a 1907 Demoiselle, a 1909 Blériot XI, a 1915 Morane-Saulnier Type L, a 1916 J-1 Standard, a 1927 Swallow biplane, and a reproduction of the 1927 Spirit of St. Louis.
