ITP Aero has announced the expansion of its commercial engine repair capabilities, focusing on two major engine programs. The Spanish company will begin advanced repairs for the PW1100G engine's turbine
inner case, utilizing techniques such as plasma spray coating and electron beam welding. This capability is set to commence at its Ajalvir facility near Madrid in April 2026. Additionally, ITP Aero has joined GE Aerospace's European repair network for the CF34-10 engine, which powers Embraer 190/195 aircraft, with inductions starting in January 2026. These developments follow ITP Aero's inclusion in the geared turbofan engine repair network, enhancing its service offerings for PW1500G and PW1900G engines. The company has invested over €5 million to boost engine testing capacity at its Mexico site, aiming to conduct 225 engine tests annually.
