career as an industrial psychologist, founding David G. Hoffmann & Associates in 1972. He was known for guiding executives from Fortune 500 companies through significant career transitions. In 1988, Hoffmann and his wife Jeanine founded Arts & Artisans, a gallery that grew to 10 locations in Chicago, showcasing American handcrafts. Hoffmann was also deeply involved in music, singing with the Paulist Choir of Chicago from a young age and directing the Paulist Chorale for nearly four decades.
