Audrey was predeceased by her husband, William Herbert Freeborn, her son, David Crowther Freeborn, and her grandson, David Christopher Freeborn. She is survived by her children, William Herbert Freeborn, Jr., Stephen Lewis Freeborn, and Susan Freeborn Schottland, along with 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family expressed gratitude to the staff at Laurelwood for their compassionate care. A celebration of her life will be held at Laurelwood at The Highlands of Pittsford, with a private interment in Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
