Felix Burkett Garrett, a 96-year-old veteran, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Milledgeville, Georgia. Garrett was a native of Texas and served in the U.S. Army for 20 years, with tours
in Korea, Japan, and Germany. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Criminal Investigation Division in 1966. Post-retirement, Garrett pursued a career in banking and retired again in 1986 as a Banking Operations Officer. He was known for his diverse interests, including car restoration, woodworking, and storytelling. Garrett is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date, with interment at Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta, Georgia.
