What's Happening?
On July 28, the NGO Resource Center (NGORC) signed a Strategic Partnership Memorandum with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), along with five other Ukrainian organizations. This partnership aims to enhance cooperation in protection, localization,
civil society development, and advocacy. The collaboration builds on previous joint projects, such as strengthening the GBV response system in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The partnership is based on an equal exchange of professional expertise and shared vision, marking a significant milestone in their joint efforts.
Why It's Important?
The strategic partnership between the IRC and Ukrainian NGOs is crucial for strengthening civil society and improving response systems in regions affected by conflict. By pooling resources and expertise, the organizations can enhance their impact on local communities, addressing urgent humanitarian needs and promoting sustainable development. This collaboration not only supports immediate relief efforts but also contributes to long-term resilience and capacity building, fostering a more robust civil society in Ukraine.
