Dubai has introduced the Dubai Sustainable Tourism (DST) Stamp, a program designed to recognize hotels that demonstrate exceptional commitment to sustainable practices. The initiative, led by the Dubai Department
of Economy and Tourism (DET), assesses hotels across 19 key areas, including energy and water efficiency, waste reduction, responsible sourcing, and community engagement. The DST Stamp operates under a three-tier system—Gold, Silver, and Bronze—where hotels are evaluated annually to ensure continuous progress. In the latest assessment, 153 hotels across Dubai received the DST Stamp, with notable recipients in the Gold Tier including Atlantis The Palm and Jumeirah Al Qasr.
