Joan Therese Restko, a resident of Highland Park, Illinois, has passed away at the age of 74. She was the wife of Michael Restko and mother to Matthew, Katherine, and Daniel. Joan was also a grandmother to Cyrus and had a large extended family, including
siblings Kathleen, Joseph, Richard, Thomas, Anne, Edward, Mary Ellen, and James. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Virginia Prendergast, and her sister Elsie. A visitation is scheduled for March 23 at Christ Our Hope Parish in Highland Park, followed by a funeral mass. A reception will be held at Maggiano’s in Skokie. The family has requested that memorials be made to NAMI Illinois.
