by 6.1%. In contrast, the United States and Canada experienced declines in spending and arrivals. The WTTC forecasts that Travel & Tourism will contribute $12 trillion to the global economy in 2026, with North America benefiting from strong domestic demand and lower exposure to geopolitical disruptions.
