Central Lakes College Workforce Solutions has announced the return of its professional development series, Leadership and Management for the 22nd Century, set to begin in January 2026. This four-part series aims to equip current and emerging leaders with
the skills necessary to drive positive change within their organizations. The program is designed as a hands-on, cohort-style experience that combines practical skill-building with meaningful reflection and discussion. Each session will focus on different aspects of effective leadership, including communication, conflict management, company culture, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Participants will complete various assessments and plans to ensure actionable growth and measurable outcomes. The series will be led by Katie Heppner, regional director of the North Central Small Business Development Center at Central Lakes College, who emphasizes the need for adaptive and empathetic leadership in today's fast-changing environment.
