William M. Wadden IV, affectionately known as Biv, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at his home in Bloomingdale, Illinois, on December 24th. Biv was a well-respected Class A PGA Professional who dedicated his life to teaching golf to students,
including elite juniors and fellow PGA professionals. He also served as the putting instructor for the Notre Dame golf team. Raised in Glenview, Illinois, Biv was known for his confidence, kindness, and joy, which positively impacted those around him. He is survived by his children, Jack and Laura, and his partner, Trish Pappano. Biv's passing is mourned by many friends, family members, and students whose lives he touched. Visitation and funeral services are scheduled for early January in Skokie and Glenview, Illinois.
