The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced the full closure of US 75 northbound and southbound mainlanes in Sherman, Texas, for maintenance work. The closures will occur nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on August 3 and 4, 2026. The southbound closure is
necessary for the removal of traffic barriers, while the northbound closure will allow for the removal of forms from the Lamberth Drive bridge. Motorists will be detoured via marked routes, with southbound traffic exiting at Loy Lake Road and northbound traffic at N. Travis Street.
