What's Happening?
The Everett Municipal Court in Washington is set to implement a new case management system, Enterprise Justice, and introduce mandatory electronic filing via eFile & Serve. The transition will begin on September 8, 2026, with a full 'Go Live' date for
the Enterprise Justice system on September 14, 2026. Mandatory electronic filing will commence on October 14, 2026. During this period, the court will experience temporary closures to the public on specific afternoons in September and October 2026. The existing Judicial Information System (JIS) and JABS calendar will be disabled, with prosecutors, public defenders, and justice partners transitioning to the Judicial Access Browser System (JABS). Private bar attorneys will be required to use JIS Link, as continued use of legacy JIS may result in data loss. Additionally, the 'schedule' feature on JIS Link for attorney searches will no longer be available, requiring attorneys to track client court dates independently until court calendars and documents become accessible through re:SearchWA.
