Pacific Fusion, a commercial fusion energy company, has selected New Mexico as the site for its $1 billion Research and Manufacturing Campus. The facility, located at Mesa del Sol, aims to achieve net facility gain by 2030, producing more energy from fusion reactions than consumed. This project is expected to create hundreds of jobs and position New Mexico as a leader in the fusion energy industry.
