Mahmood Lab has launched CORAL, a new spatial proteomics processing suite designed to streamline the analysis of tissue slides. CORAL offers a comprehensive toolkit that simplifies the process from raw tissue slides to biological insights, focusing on
cell types, spatial neighborhoods, and patient outcomes. The suite is Foundation Model-centric, utilizing pretrained models on extensive spatial proteomics datasets. CORAL supports multiplexed antibody imaging platforms like CODEX and PhenoCycler, with plans to expand to spatial transcriptomics. The suite automates the entire workflow, making it accessible for researchers to conduct complex analyses without extensive computational expertise.
