The International Conference on Brand Agriculture Development was held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China, on April 10, 2026. Hosted by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), the conference
focused on advancing Chinese agricultural brands to international prominence. Tao Huaiying, Chief Veterinary Officer of MARA, highlighted the importance of brand agriculture in promoting high-quality agricultural development. The conference outlined four key initiatives: solidifying quality as the lifeline of brands, emphasizing green and ecological characteristics, promoting innovation, and creating an open and cooperative brand network. Representatives from the FAO, various countries, and domestic and international enterprises participated in discussions on brand agriculture development, agro-trade promotion, and international cooperation.
