Bay College has appointed Taylor Shay as the new coordinator for its Forestry Technology and Agricultural Operations programs, in partnership with the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology. Shay, who joined in July 2026, will
oversee student support, instruction, and recruitment. The programs offer dual-enrolled certificate and associate degree options, supported by a $749,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Students gain practical experience through internships and field trips, preparing them for careers in forestry and agriculture. Shay aims to support students' success and foster a passion for natural resources.
