What's Happening?
The Maine Agricultural Mediation Program (MAMP), part of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, is calling for original artwork submissions for its 2027 wall calendar and notecards. The theme for the artwork is farming and tending to the land
and sea throughout the seasons. Artists from Maine are invited to submit high-quality images of their work, excluding photography, by May 20. The selected pieces will be featured in the calendar, and artists will receive free copies of the calendar and notecards. The initiative aims to support MAMP's efforts in providing mediation and conflict resolution services to the agricultural community in Maine. MAMP, under the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Mediation Program, assists with issues such as agricultural loans, conservation programs, and family farm transitions.
