ABC No Rio, a renowned DIY punk rock venue and arts space in New York City's Lower East Side, has reached a significant milestone with the topping out of its new $21 million facility at 156 Rivington Street. The new building, designed by Paul A. Castrucci
Architects, is set to open in late 2026 and will meet LEED Silver and Passive House energy efficiency standards. The facility will replace the previous tenement building and will include spaces for art, music, performance, and educational activities, as well as a darkroom, screen printing facility, and digital resources.
