St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its fundraising organization, ALSAC, have announced the addition of two new members to their Boards of Directors and Governors. Khalil Barrage, managing director
at The Invus Group, LLC, and Mike Hamra, chairman and CEO of Hamra Enterprises, have joined the board to contribute their extensive business and leadership experience. This announcement is part of St. Jude's ongoing $12.9 billion strategic plan aimed at advancing research and treatment for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. The new board members are expected to bring diverse expertise to the mission of St. Jude, which has been pivotal in increasing the overall survival rate of childhood cancer from 20% to over 80% since its inception in 1962.
